What do we mean by Full Dealers?
Mul-T-Lock offer various levels of dealership which all involve different levels of commitment from the locksmith.
The most basic and least-expensive way of becoming a Mul-T-Lock dealer is to become a Garrison Dealer. This gives you one basic key cutting machine and access to only the low security Garrison  and more importantly, only the Garrison key blanks. 
It's a start but only a small one, if you're serious about Locksmithing in London, a full dealership is the way forward.

But, what's it all about?
Door locks that use cylinders are in most cases upgradeable to more secure versions that use more secure 'security' keys. Mul-t-lock are major manufactures of such upgraded cylinders.
Even a simple yale lock can have it's cylinder upgraded to a Mul-t-lock version. The lock will be more secure, harder to pick or drill open and will have security keys.
Each Mul-T-lock cylinder is supplied with a unique key registration card that contains the vital information required to produce additional copies of that key. Mul-T-lock dealers will not copy the key unless the card is produced. Mul-t-lock's mantra is "no card = no keys, with no exceptions".
This gives you, the customer, ultimate control over who can obtain keys to your home or business.
For example, you may give a key to a domestic cleaner or a builder. When the key is finally returned to you you have no way of knowing if they have had a copy made for themselves to use at a later date for the purpose of coming a crime.
With the mul-t-lock system, you can rest assured that they will have been refused by the dealer as they were unable to produce the key registration card. 
Mul-t-lock take this process very seriously indeed and dealers must sign a legal contract committing that they will never duplicate a Mul-T-Lock key without following this procedure.
Any dealer caught breaking this rule is immediately stripped of their dealership and the Key cutting machines are removed from their premises.
Mul-t-lock rely on members of the public bringing to their attention breaches of the dealer agreement. If you are aware of any dealer breaking the rules, call Mul-T-Lock on 01902 364 200 and report them.

One of the benefits of a Mul-T-Lock dealership is ownership of your local geographical area.
Mul-T-Lock only appoint dealers within strict geographical boundaries. We for example 'own' (for want of a better word) the London N20 postal code. We were appointed as dealer in 2002 after being on the waiting list for nearly five years.No other dealer can be appointed in N20 without our permission.
